The Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a small marine fish, recognizable by its characteristic color pattern. It is endemic to the shallow reefs of the East Indian and Western Pacific Oceans. Clownfish live in symbiosis with anemones, whose arms can be deadly to other fish. The reproductive cycle of the clownfish is linked to the moon’s phases and can see the clownfish reproduce several times a year. The species feeds mainly on algaes and plankton as well as food particles left behind by its anemone host. It is a very popular saltwater aquarium fish.

The Regal Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus) is an intensely colored and beautiful marine fish. Also known as the Palette Surgeonfish of Hippo Tang, it is a popular representative of the reef community. Found in the coral rich areas of the Indo-Pacific region, the Regal Tang lives in small groups or in pairs. Juveniles feed mainly on plankton and algaes while adults are omnivorous. It is a prized aquarium fish, though dificult to maintain in captivity.

The Emperor Angelfish is a beautifully colored member of the family Pomacanthidae. The species has a wide Indo-Pacific distribution and can be found as far as Hawaii. It reaches a length of around 40 cm and juvenile specimens have strikingly different patterns to adults. It is omnivorous and feeds on sponges, algae and small organisms. The species is a very popular aquarium fish because of its wonderful coloration.

The Regal Angelfish is a beautifully colored member of the family Pomacanthidae. The species can be found in the Indo-Pacific region and prefer lagoons, reefs and caves. It reaches a length of up to 25 cm and is an omnivorous species. Regal Angelfish feed mainly on sponges, algae and small organisms like tunicates. It is very popular aquarium fish because of its majestic coloration.
